Apart from West Ham all motorbike related Jean Phillipa Ruggia elbow down at Donington about 93 sticks out in my mind as did poster of 1976 Harley Davidson amf 1200 fxe I’ll probably spend all night looking on google now

Wurzel, I grew up in a different time to you and none of my mates had posters up in their bedrooms either [ these bedrooms were inevitable shared so personalising was difficult too ]. It was the way of the world back then.

Burning Spear at the Brixton Academy, could've been 1983. It was red letters on a yellow plain.
Didn't have any other posters.

A gig poster for The Ramones at The Roundhouse in 1976 or 77 (I was too young to go) in bright orange and dark blue.
Various bikes I loved like the Kawasaki GPZ900R, Yamaha RD350 and Suzuki GSXR750H (I ended up owning two of those three bikes).
Weirdly, today the latest things to go on my bedroom wall arrived, three brilliant half-and-half scarves I bought at the RA Summer Exhibition (the only 'art' I have ever bought) that only arty football supporters (and Grayson Perry who picked them to be exhibited) would get.
One is half yellow and half pink and says VAN GOGH V GAUGUIN and beneath says 'the ear and the sword'.
Another says Battle Of DA VINCI V MICHELANGELO 'Anohiari e Cascina'.
I love the idea of famous artists having football matches or fights to determine who is the best.

It was them that actually originated the poster, photographed it etc. the baby pissed on him. that poster didn't sell quite so well.

the poster your sister had, the bloke in it is a cousin of mine, by marriage, his name's Adam.
I think it's still the biggest selling poster in british history. made Athena a small fortune.
